2023 has been a year of consciously putting myself first. setting boundaries, working on myself, working on my dreams. this came with some goodbyes because not everyone could align with the shift . but the freedom, peace and happiness that comes with prioritising oneself is priceless and should never be compromised. Every print and colour is inspired from my personal memories from my travels to different jungles and hence every stole / dupatta holds a special@place in my heart

When I was thinking about a new series, there were so many ideas that came to mind. At the same time , I was listening to all old Hindi and Bengali songs and I thought why not create something that would bring back memories of those days of beautiful cinema and evergreen music. But then I also wanted to make sarees that would remind us of our mothers and grandmothers, draped in crisp , paat paar cotton sarees in simple block prints during the pujo mornings. What we would call “pujor halka shaj”. Those cottons that would become extra soft, “nyata” is the word , over time and smell of turmeric and masala as moms would wipe their hands on the pallu while cooking or we would dry our hands after a sumptuous Sunday meal as mom cleared the table. This series then had to be named “Abhinetri”, inspired by yesteryear heroines and of course the heroine of our lives, Maa. We wish that this series finds a place of love in every wardrobe, hence this is the most budget friendly collection we have made so far. Make the most simple saree the most treasured one this Pujo.

“Pujo asche” two words to bring out a plethora of emotions . Goosebumps and adrenaline rush, the booming voice of Shri Birendra Krishna Bhadra , the beat of dhaak , the soft fragrance of shiuli . And pujo means pujor khawa dawa of course . Launching the first of our pujo edit “Sweet & Savory” . Pandal hopping and munching goes hand in hand.
