Pilitaxi Abar – Embroidered Shiuli Flowers on Begampur Cotton Saree

Our first pilitaxi saree was a screen and block print on dhonekhali and we have lost count of the number of sarees we have sold since the last exhibition. This time we chose another creative from the team and created a saree with elaborate hand embroidered taxis on the pallu, the special feature being the net that was attached to create the ek chala look. Embroidered shiuli flowers on the body of this begampur cotton added to the pujo look.

Book yours now and create some noise this Pujo.

Saree length: 5.5 mtrs

  • We try our best to take photos of products under natural light since we want the actual products to look similar to what you have seen on the website/page. However, there are times, when a camera or a computer monitor or a device can’t match the perspective of an eye.  Differences in display outputs might also be evident due to lighting, digital photography, color settings and capabilities of your computer monitors or mobile screens. Hence, slight discrepancies are unavoidable. We firmly believe that all customers who order online are aware of this genuine challenge and thus to avoid any misunderstanding or discrepancies, we would request you to consider that before you place your orders.

These imperfections are not actually defects, but a testimony of human involvement in the process and are the reason that makes each piece unique. Also, characteristic imperfections associated with Hand-block printing may be observed in certain sarees, and colors may fade or bleed on certain sarees, due to the traditional dyeing and printing process employed. We would request you to consider that before you place your orders.
